DoggyWalker.com is a longtime supporter of animal rescues and strongly believes in helping homeless animals find their forever homes. We are committed to working with clients who have recently adopted a dog to make sure they receive the patience, and care they need to adjust to their new life. We have worked with hundreds of rescue dogs and understand what it takes.
Our personal pets come from a variety of rescue organizations, including the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (DoggyWalker.com’s owner serves on the Board of Directors of the AWLA, and is Chair of the Development Committee), King Street Cats, Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, and Homeword Trails Animal Rescue.Some of the other rescues we’ve worked with include:
In addition to donating gift certificates for services to fundraising events, we set aside funds each year to specifically sponsor fundraising events, donation drives, and special appeals. We also host our own annual holiday donation drive for various rescues in the area.
